As most of you know by now, karma can be a bitch. Apparently, NY Giants fans had their way with the City of Brotherly Love’s most revered shrine. No, not the Liberty Bell; we’re talking the Rocky Balboa statue. That’s right, fans of the New York football team altered the appearance of The Italian Stallion right before the Giants-Eagles game this past Monday night.

So how did Sylvester Stallone take the news? Surprising well. Here’s what the good-humored, action star had to say about the crime against Philly’s favorite fictional fighter. “It was not defaced,” Sly said … “The statue was cold.” We may never really know who pulled off the prank, but we do know that Eagles fans had the last laugh as their team trounced the Giants, 27-7.
