Groiners are a dynamic exercise that strengthen the hips and core while increasing hip mobility and joint flexibility.


  1. 530_A
    Assume a pushup position, your core braced and glutes tights.
  2. Groiners
    Keeping your body in a straight line from heels to head, lift one foot off of the floor and bring it as close to your opposite hand as possible. Return to the pushup position.

Trainer’s Tips

  • Try to keep the shin of your lead leg perpendicular to the floor.
