Kneeling Cross Crunch

The kneeling cross crunch is a core-strengthening exercise that works your abs and lower back. The rotational aspect also improves mobility and flexibility.

Instructions

  1. 901_A
Begin by kneeling on the floor with one leg out in front of you and bent at a 90-degree angle. Keep your chest up and place the hand that's opposite your front knee behind your head.
  2. Kneeling Cross Crunch
Using your abs, crunch diagonally across your body by bringing your elbow toward your knee. Pause, then return to the starting position.

Trainer’s Tips

  • Squeeze your abs and glutes throughout the exercise to improve stability.
  • Do not round your lower back at any point.
  • Rotate through your core without moving your lower body.
