Her Work Out Motivation
I am a very results and goal driven person, so I like seeing things change, because of the work I put in. My body is one of the only things I'm in complete control of, so I like being able to shape it the way I want. I also just feel healthier and have way more energy. Overall I just feel better when I'm active and working out!
What Winning Would Mean To Montana
If I won Flex Bikini Model Search, that would mean I would be jumping up and down ridiculously on stage at Olympia weekend for one! But seriously, it would be an insane dream for me. A lot of the women I look up to have been on that stage at some point, and have set the bar for everyone. They are the reason that all of us are training now and eating clean. To be in the same category as all of those girls before me, would be unreal. I would definitely represent Flex and Weider the best I possibly could, and keep training, competing, and encouraging others to live this lifestyle. One of the reasons I am pursuing acting and fitness, is because I want to be able to give back. And have a voice. If I can go to a high school and have them actually listen to me about eating healthy and following your dreams, whatever your dream is, that would be really cool for me.
A little more about Montana:
1. What or who got you started working out?
I've always played sports since I was young. I played lacrosse, basketball, tae kwon do, boxing, you name it. In gym class in high school I could always do more pushups and situps than the boys. I've been acting for a few years, and then started fitness modeling too. I recently started weight training, because my goals changed with the way I wanted to look. I went to the NY Pro to check it out, and left there thinking "I want to compete".
2. Role models/influences to start working out seriously?
Yeshaira Robles is my role model as far as competitors; she has a daughter, she looks amazing, and is just super sweet and down to earth. I also love Ana Delia and a bunch of others. There are just so many inspiring girls out there who are out there kicking butt. I look up to a lot of them. Also, my boyfriend trains harder than anyone I know, and pretty much only has dessert on his birthday so he's a huge motivation as well.
3. What is your favorite meal to get lean?
Tilapia and grilled vegetables. As far as normal meals, oatmeal with walnuts, a sliced banana, and egg whites is my favorite meal. Hands down.
4. What's your favorite cheat meal?
Dessert…specifically pie is my favorite. Blueberry, apple, peach, count me in. Or peanut butter pie….I forgot that one.
5. What are your goals in the fitness industry?
I want to really expand my stage presence and see what stages I can work my way up to. IFBB Pro is a goal for sure. Acting and fitness are my two passions, so if I can keep doing both, that would be amazing. I'm hoping to eventually combine them and do an action film of course 🙂 I think it's so important to spread the word of living a healthy lifestyle, and trying to get others active and eating clean. I plan on starting a blog on my current website at some point with recipes and workouts. I have a few other ideas up my sleeve too.
