Never heard of durian? Not surprising. This fruit has a stench so powerful that it’s been deemed illegal to bring into public places in Asia. Still, if you can get past the aroma, durian is loaded with vitamin C, which plays an essential role in recovery, packing 80% of your daily value into a 357-calorie one-cup serving.

It’s also full of other vitamins and minerals, like copper, manganese, vitamin B6 and thiamin, which has been found to enhance athletic performance. Surprisingly, one serving has more potassium than a banana—1,060 milligrams. If you can brave the powerful odor, then slice into one and reap the benefits. Just not around us.

Give this nutritious shake a try.
