Ryan Lochte has had quite the year.

The 12-time Olympic medalist took home a gold at the Rio Summer Games, caused some controversy after a late night of partying, and joined the reality TV show Dancing With the Stars.

Now he has another item to add to the list: getting engaged.

The Rochester, New York native proposed to his girlfriend, model Kayla Rae Reid, and she accepted, announcing on Instagram that the duo are now set to get hitched. Lochte and Reid previously met at a Hollywood nightclub in January of 2016 and have been going strong ever since.

Reid has flaunted her stunning good looks on social media quite a bit, whether it’s working out in the hills of Griffith Park, or stepping out for the night in a stylish dress, or sporting an Edmonton Oilers jersey on the beach.
