Want some pointers ahead of this weekend’s SuperFit Championship qualifier at the Teaneck Armory in New Jersey? You can still register for the event if you feel you have what it takes to get it done! SuperFit competitor and MHP athlete Nick Del Grande gives us a breakdown of what you need to do to tackle Event 1 at Saturday’s competition.
1. 10 Burpee Box Jumps
2. 20 Slam Ball RX/Scaled Male- 50#/20#, and RX/Scaled Female- 20#/10#
“Pacing is key in this workout,” explains Del Grande. “You don’t want to go out the gate too fast and just blow up on the burpees and not be able to lift a slam ball up over head.” Del Grande gives a good tip on how to determine what pace and strategy you should employ to get the best results. He also demonstrates the proper form for performing each exercise.
