The biggest news surrouding the Miss Universe pageant is, of course, the fact that Steve Harvey crowned the wrong winner. After announcing that the top contender was Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutiérrez Arévalo, Harvey appologized and said that, in fact, the Miss Universe title belonged to Miss Philippines, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach. While the whole mix up is definitely news-worthy, there was a whole lot more that happened during the contest as well.
