On Monday, December 11, Pfizer will begin selling sildenafil, the little white pill, for $33 a pop—about half the usual $65 per pill. Teva Pharmaceuticals will also roll our its generic pill, though the company hasn’t released its price point yet.

More generics will be unveiled next summer, steadily dropping the price of the penis-pumping pill, according to the AP report.

In January 2018, Pfizer will also introduce two discount programs and increase its copayment card discounts, the AP reports, so uninsured men can get brand-name Viagra without paying full price. What’s more, insured patients will be able to get a month’s prescription—usually about 6-10 pills, depending upon the plan—for as little as a $20 copay.

These new plans and generic varieties will likely pump-up sales, experts told the AP—good news for Pfizer, because Viagra sales have been less-than-sturdy amid price surges and competition from cheaper options like Cialis and Levitra (which will also go generic next fall).
