The 2010 IFBB Pittsburgh Pro Figure & Bikini Championships are charging into Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania this weekend. In Bikini, Sonia Gonzales is looking like an early threat to take top honors. With wins at the New Zealand Pro Bikini and the Pro Bikini Championships already this year she has to be a heavy favorite. However Nathalia Melo fresh off a win at the Europa Show of Champions is looking to move into the driver’s seat and match Gonzales’ pair of wins. But don’t count out Tianna Ta, Alea Suarez or Kat Holmes, all head-turners and all possessing the goods required to nab top honors.

In the Figure division, Heather Mae French, who placed third at the 2010 Figure International and bounced back to win the New Zealand Pro Figure, is looking for her second victory of 2010. There are, however, a slew of competitors out to nab that top spot, including Marcy Porter, who was runner-up at April’s Europa Show of Champions and Cheryl Brown, who took bronze behind Porter. And you can’t overlook Holly Beck, the 2009 class F winner at the NPC Nationals, or Jodie Minear, who was fifth at the Phoenix Pro. Expect a tight race to the finish when these tight ladies take to the stage this Saturday.
