Women have stronger orgasms if their partner is funny—and rich, a study from the University of Albany recently found.

The unanimous response from Men’s Fitness editors: “No shit.”

Here’s the breakdown. Researchers interviewed female college students, asked them to rate how often they reached orgasm during sex, then compared their answers to their partner’s family income, self-confidence, and attractiveness.

Their groundbreaking results found the following correlations. A woman’s sexual satisfaction is strongly linked to her partner’s looks and his shoulder breadth. His sense of humor predicted his self-confidence and family income, plus a woman’s likelihood of initiating sex, how often the couple has sex, and frequency of her orgasm. Guess the whole “It’s not what you’re packing, it’s how you use it is” pep talk is a tad trite now.

But don’t sweat it if your shoulders are meek and you come from a middle-class family (a.k.a. most of the male population inhabiting this earth). At least you’ll have a good personality to fall back on, just like your mother always told you. And hey, a good sense of humor is a big piece of the perfect-female-orgasm-producing-man puzzle!
