Marvel Boss Wants The Rock

There seems to be nothing that this multi-talented man cannot do, and most of it is down to him working his ass off.

Marvel Boss Wants The Rock

As a physical specimen, The Rock is something else, but his incredible levels of endurance and stamina are not praised enough. While shooting the well-received Pain & Gain with Mark Wahlberg, he was training hard for his WWE 29 showdown with John Cena. He's up next on the big screens in Fast & Furious 6 on May 24 (see trailer below) and there have been reports that he is associated to an HBO pilot about a former pro athlete who has recently retired and is adapting to life as a regular joe (rumored to be produced but the aforementioned Wahlberg).

And, in the middle of all this, he had to undergo an emergency hernia operation. On that note, check out the Rock's recent tweet on how his recovery is going:

However, the ripples that The Rock is making in the Hollywood pond have not gone unnoticed by some of its most influential movers and shakers. Kevin Feige, the head of Marvel Studios, recently dropped The Rock's name as one he would love to work with him down the line.

"His name has come up in the past. I`m a gigantic fan of his. I think he`s incredible. I might have met him once a long time ago, but I haven`t really met him. I don`t really know him, but I think he`s an unbelievable personality and an unbelievable sort of force of nature," he said according to

"He`s awesome in Pain & Gain. He was great in G.I. Joe. He`s really kind of an amazing human being. His Twitter`s always cool and he promotes the hell out of everything he does. I would love him to be part of the Marvel universe somewhere, someday."

What superhero do you think The Rock would be best suited for? Let us know and we will inform him of what M&F nation thinks is the best role for him. Oh, did we mention that he also live tweeted one of the NBA playoff games on the TNT Twitter account. Also, for your viewing pleasure, we just had to share this photo of The Rock with Charles Barkley and Shaq. We'll let The Rock explain:

The Rock is clearly a true example of a man who wastes not a second of every day. He is on the crest of a wave right now, and he is proving that if you apply yourself and stay dedicated to your goals, then you will reap the rewards of your hard toil. Now, what's your excuse?
