How did you get started in fitness and Team Performix?
I grew up in year-round sports with three older brothers doing the same thing. We were always encouraged to be active and invest in our physical health. Performix approached me earlier this year and expressed their interest in bringing me onboard the team.
How are you driven in fitness and in life?
I’m always trying to improve myself and find new challenges whether it’s with my education, fitness, or profession. I’m highly competitive and want to push myself in everything that I do.
What advice can you give to our fans who are just starting out or looking to get back to the gym?
I always preach two things: consistency and nutrition. Everyone is always looking for a shortcut, but health is a lifestyle change, not something for a short season.
If you had to pick only 3 exercises what would they be and why?
Bulgarian squats, dumbbell press, and deadlifts. I love each of these exercises because at the end of my workouts I always leave with a feeling of accomplishment. I crave that feeling any time I get into the gym and know I can get the most bang for my buck.
