90/90 Stretch

The 90/90 stretch is a dynamic warm-up exercise that improves flexibility and mobility through the core and hips.


  1. 929_A
    Lie on one side with your arms straight out in front of you and your palms touching. Bring your legs up so your knees are at a 90-degree angle and rest your top leg on a towel or pad between the knees.
  2. 90/90 Stretch
    Apply pressure on the towel between your knees and then rotate your top arm to the side, aiming to pin your back to the ground. Hold for three seconds, and slowly return to the starting position.

Trainer’s Tips

  • Be sure to keep your shoulders in contact with the ground throughout the move.
  • Make sure to keep a controlled pace during the rotation.
