One-Armed Weightlifter Just Gets Stronger

When 25-year-old Krystal Cantu lost her right arm in a car accident last year, she didn't hesitate to get right back in the gym and pick up where she left off. As a matter of fact, she admits to getting even stronger.

Not one to feel sorry for herself or look for reasons to quit, the avid lifter went back to work hitting the iron just three weeks after the accident. As a matter of fact, she can now lift more with one arm than she ever could with two, topping all her personal records. "It's the best thing that could have happened, so much good has come out of it," says the feisty, Texan. "I've inspired so many, which I still find really odd and strange."

How can you not be inspired after witnessing Krystal's courage and determination at the gym where she regularly performs her CrossFit training. Just one of Krystal's many impressive physical feats is her 210lb bar overhead press.
