America likes its action heroes lean, ripped, muscular and strong. So when a photo was recently released by US Weekly of a less-than lean and ripped Vin Diesel hanging out on a Miami Beach hotel balcony, people took notice, and wanted answers. Could one of today’s top box-office badasses, who starred in such big screen blockbusters as Chronicles of Riddick and the Fast & Furious be sporting a dad bod under his tees?

Diesel took some time off promoting his new movie The Last Witch Hunter, and took to his Instagram page to address the critique of his physique. Here’s what he had to say (and reveal) about all the body-shaming drama.  

“It is amazing the response from the journalists who I have been talking to for the last two days in New York. Today one wanted to see the dad bod. Haha,” he wrote in an Instagram caption over the weekend. “I am wondering if I should show the picture… Body-shaming is always wrong! What do you think?”
